In the last 2 days I have noticed some loud static sounding RFI on HF.  It sounds like a tick, or static discharge.

Nothing has changed in the shack, as far as added equipment.  My rig is 3 feet from my computer and fios modem.

Powering down the computer is no help.  Any suggestions on how to track this down?

Other than throwing breakers in your house until it goes away, I've got nothing. Keep in mind it may not be in YOUR house. It also might not even be on your block. You could try disconnecting your antenna and see if it goes away. This would give you some idea of how local or how strong it is.

It has been really dry.

All bands.

Cut all the breakers it goes away.  The clicking was a powered attic fan circuit, never had this problem in a year.

My noise hash with squelch off goes from s5 to s9 as I power up, upstairs rooms.

My attic antenna runs straight up not along any power lines.  Looks like I need to work on some basics on getting the noise hash down.

Clicking solved though, thanks.
