[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need some help with Reed Electronics repeater controller

So I purchased one of these from Arrow Antenna.

Anyway i wanted to build a low cost SHTF mini repeater using an FT-60 and and old EFjohnson radio i have laying around.
Ill try and post some pics.

I can't seem to get this Controller to accept DTMF tones im sending threw the FT-60!

Anyone have any experience with this device or device like it?
Any help would be appreciated!

do you have the DTMF codes turned on via the programming? thats the only thing i can think of.

When im in programming mode the controller isn't detecting any DTMF.

Your receiver radio might not be passing DTMF.

I'm using a FT-60 now but i have a pro-93 i can hook up and try. Let me see.

Are you getting the flashing light and all that when you start the controller in programming mode?

You haven't locked out the DTMF?

Have you checked your cables that the audio out is on the right pin?

Just thoughts....
