I have a yaesu vx-8dr I am trying to find freqs in my area. if anyine is in IL I would like to know a list of frqs. I looked online but nothing comes up.

Plus there's always the national simplex frequencies.... 2m - 146.520, 70cm - 446.000.  6m - 52.525 and 1.25m - 223.500 but low probability of working anyone on those two, from an HT especially.

There are alot of repeaters from the frist link posted. I am trying to make a list of freq's that are in my area.

Probably not the business frequencies.  Whatever they use for ambulance-to-ER comm in your area can be a useful source of intelligence.
