[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Extra License Classes (houston)

Well I'm slowly reading through the ARRL and Gordon West extra class license books and need a little pep to try and grasp the concepts a little better (esp subele 5-7). Does anyone know of any weekend or evening study classes on the subject around the Houston area by chance?

I've never heard of anyone doing Extra classes. When I was teaching a General class earlier this year I was asked to do one for Extra. Haven't gotten to work on it so who knows if it'll happen. Good luck with your studies, though.
