passed tech today along with the other 6 folks in my group
Now on to the loooonnngggg two week wait for my sign

And you thought BRD was a wallet buster...
I was supposed to take my Tech test on Friday. Unfortunately,I went to where the exam was supposed to be and found out it had been moved. I beat feet over to the new location,because I had been told they wouldnt wait for me. When I get there I'm told " Oh we moved the location months ago,nobody updated the website" Then ,I find out only two of the three VE's have showed up. So I get told "Sorry,cant test without three VE's,try again next month" Now,my friend and I had called the day before to verify that the exam was Friday,so somebody knew I was coming. I'm so pissed about the whole thing,I've started asking myself if its worth the bullshit to get my license.

get online at arrl.org and look up the local radio groups in your state/county or you can look up by zip as well and call around. You'll find someone that will most likely be able to test you out within a week or two and prob be more than willing to help point you in the right direction good luck man! and thanks for all the kind words folks! |
