Someone asked about this before, but I can't find the post.

I did something like that last fall. smaller though only 3 coax wires.well, kind of. I notched about 1 1/2 inches out of the bottom of plastic frame. window is almost all the way shut. but....

my problem was/is there is a draft in the middle of the window now, it doesn't seal good where the upper and lower windows meet. I put plastic over window and that helped, but still that little cold air realy cools down the radio room.
(which is also my wifes computer room).

I'm thinking if there were a 3 inch wide antenna holder, it would leak all kinds of air.

Why reinvent the wheel ?

ETA That actually looks better than the MFJ one, but I am lazy, so ....

I think the idea was to use the pvc board so as to be more long lasting, and tailor it with exactly the sockets he wants.  In an email the author said he would be adding some feedthroughs for ladder line, too.  Those would be made from stainless bolts and wingnuts and placed off the metal plate, just on the pvc board.

I was lazy too.  I bought a mfj one from R&L.  I ordered the one that has 4 ladder lines, 2 coax, and the ground wire lug.  I installed it today but no pics yet cause I didn't get time to cut and put more ends on my coax.

I did mine the hard way...with a hand sledge, concrete chisel and a lot of cussing. Put two holes through the foundation of sufficient size to slip a 2" CPVC pipe section through each, then concreted them in. Pipe caps with holes drilled in them pass feedlines through and keep woozles out of the pipes (along with the basement.)

There are 8 feedlines plus a ground cable running through them. Eventually I'll need another pipe section, as the feedline and control cable count will go north of 20.

I wish I could have used one of the window feedthroughs, but mine don't readily lend themselves to such.
