Now you see it. Now you Dont. BTW my carpet doesnt look that dirty by eye ...... I guess I need to resolve it   I should of took a pic strait from the side , it pivots under the seat so I dont have to worry about the kid steping on it . Im tring to keep all my comm stuff low profile as possible on this truck. ETA: the yaesu remote head mount bolts up prefectly to the ram mount 1 inch 2 screw ball mount. .... glad I dint waste money on the radio plate. |
| What surprised me was how hard it was to find a site that sold the pieces I needed . I almost got ready to order from 2 different places before I found a place up in NJ . You would figure a modular system you could easily find what you need but most places carry just the kits . I need 2 of the C type arms but for the 1" ball then some diff misc mounts for this project and a project for my kayak and every where I looked you could only get it as a part of a kit with pieces I didnt want . |
for RAM stuff i have used www.getfeetwet.com/cat_RAMmounts.aspx and www.gpscity.com/. in almost all cases i usually pick out what i need from the RAM catalog PDF and then order by RAM part number from the websites above. the descriptions on the websites are sometimes adrift from reality. ar-jedi |
Damn. I live 10 miles from a Bass Pro Shops and they carry the entire RAM mount product line, and work 2 miles from a Cabela's that carries their stuff I think. I guess I be lucky
