Just got notice to deploy to Carthage Texas tomorow to do HF Comms support for the fueling/supply station there for the contraflow evacuation. Supposed to only be 72 hrs unless they forward deploy us because of storm damage. Carthage is in the storm track on a lot of the newest spaghetti models. If y'all have MT-63 and can find the MARS freqs, you might copy some amazing stuff. I'll post pics from the depot if I can.  |

I'd be in FL staging, but the YL and I are going to Hawaii this week, so I got out of it. They probably wold have sent me anyway, but Mrs. Drang scared 'em.  The latest reports sound like all comparisons to Katrina are greatly exaggerated, but that's not stopping Nagin from talking like an idiot. |
