The Ham Radio club Im in helped a few boy scouts get there comms badge , Good time by all :) Heres a few pics , Where that trailer is is normally under 8-10 feet of water , we need rain .... bad.

Cool. I didn't get any pics but there were only a couple of Scouts there while I was. The "rush" was in the morning while I was unable to attend.

I attended one here outside of Memphis for a few hours Saturday morning. A seasoned Scout-ham was running it and had a good setup going. We had Echolink and APRS going too.

Its Kerr lake (buggs island) I live about 10 minutes away from it. Leesville lake if my memory serves me right is near smithmountain lake.
