Did it ever happen?

Anyone hear of plans for an audiobook version to come out soon ?

I have read his book many times and I'm lucky to have signed copy...but not everyone wants a bigass book. Passing out a USB/CD's and letting people listen to the book in there cars would make great gifts.

In.

I love audiobooks, or CDs loaded into itunes.

I play books on itunes on my laptop or netbook while I'm trotting on my treadmill all the time, or in a backpack while running around.

All I have been able to find is the thread on thesurvivalpodcast.com where they started creating the audiobook and quit.

Halffast has made an audio book for his new book that could be found on iTunes. But I can't find anything for Lights Out.

David if you're reading this thread. I'm sure others would also gladly pay for an audiobook. Would make great presents for the new generation iPod connected 24/7 ear bud crowd.

Jack wasn't able to finish the project.  It would have been a huge undertaking and he was just too busy with the phenomenal success of his show.  We have talked about doing a smaller project in the future and I am really looking forward to working with him.  He's a stand up guy and a gift to all of us preppers!

The audio version of CC was done by Penguin, who also published the book.

We will be looking at getting a version of LO into audio format this year.  There are also other exciting projects we hope to accomplish in 2013.  I'll let you guys know more as info becomes available.

Thanks to all of you for your support!

I too, am looking forward to the audiobook version!!! If you happen to go the Audible route, check out Mark Boyett for the reading. He did an OUTSTANDING job for BV Larson's Star Force series and John Ringo's Troy Rising trilogy.

Just one more suggestion to drop in the bucket with the thousand others...

Thanks,

Steve
