I'll give this one bump in case some non-team members haven't caught the newest chapter yet. Thanks for the encouragement guys! |
"Why tip someone for a job I'm capable of doing myself? I can deliver food. I can drive a taxi. I can, and do, cut my own hair. I did, however, tip my urologist, because I am unable to pulverize my own kidney stones." Dwight Schrute ('The Office')

Never thought I'd ever have to do this, but I'm tagging my own thread! Hopefully readership doesn't go down now that everyone lost their tags... ETA: What the crap, it's still not in my active topics ![]() TPTB better get this sorted out. |

keep it up. I had given this one up earlier in the year, but you are rebounding nicely. I really like the story. it gets better every passing word. I am in the middle of writing my own Zombie story as we speak. I am at this point however stuck in the mud. Gary |

Whoa, I forgot about this story! I've been keeping busy with college classes, so I've never gotten around to writing for fun in a while. Seeing as this was saved from death in the archives, I'll try and get something together this month. Spring break is in two weeks... I honestly would much rather be writing zombie fiction than research papers...but zombies aren't good for my GPA. ![]() Really sorry for all the delays guys! I definitely want to finish this story. |

so umn, uh yeah... the story unlike the nemisis thereof i fear are actully dead-dead... it's a shame this and z.o.t.i were my two favs here, and i'm pretty sure i'm not going to get any closure on either one![]() PLEASE!? more story bullseye, help a brother out, i can pay you, i got these cheeseburgers... |

Bump. IT'S ALIVE!!!! ![]() Sorry for the massive delays. It's been over a year...I know it'll be hard for you guys to jump back in. Hopefully I didn't neglect this so long that it can't be revived... I've managed to maintain a 3.9GPA in college, so does that count as any sort of excuse? ... OK, probably not. ![]() Thanks for the persistent bumps. Glad to see some of you enjoy my feeble attempt at zombie fiction. I somehow lost my "Subscription" to this thread in one of the board updates, so hopefully all you Team readers see that this is back up. I'm resubscribed now so if I slack off again I'll see the thread pop up in my subscriptions if it's bumped. So, are you thoroughly tired of the story? Should I just stick a fork in it and kill them off or keep going? |

[joke] in all seriousness, this is one of my favorite stories so far along with z.o.t.i. and humanities end... so with much love and respect i must humbly state, fuck your g.p.a., i want more story, NOW! .. [/joke]
but seriously man, it's good shit, keep it coming, thanks for what we've gotten so far... K. |

Awesome, I can't wait. The only qualm I have with the story is the suppressed 10/22, subsonic rounds don't cycle properly in a 10/22. There's not enough pressure. However that's fairly forgivable considering they are killing zombies Overall well written. Looking forward to the next part. |

I've shot Remington Subsonics out of my 10/22...although it isn't suppressed (yet). They cycled just fine. Although I do have about 15,000 rounds of various .22LR through that rifle...the recoil spring is definitely not as strong as it was when it left the factory. ![]() |

Because mine didn't want to cycle at all. Maybe they were shitty rounds.

I'm neglecting to study for a history final I have tomorrow to write that other paper (also due tomorrow). So no time for zombies right now, sorry. |

I'm considering just writing all the rest of the chapters and posting them at one time, so the story is complete. Like I said before, it's not really a serial story anymore, and I'm too busy to reliably post chapters. I'd still like to finish it though. So the next update still might not be for a while, but there will be a lot more material (quite possibly the remainder of the story). |
