Anyone else here hunt gators? Wanted to know if anyone has gone out during the early season in Texas. I usually only go in the fall.

I usually only go in the fall. http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s154/dan20703/Gator-3rd.jpg not to change direction of your thread, but I had to add my Daughter and I were in Louisana visiting a buddy of mine, he had several signs up on the bayou back of his house they were cut out in the shape of a gator about 8 by 12 and bright green..and painted on each was Warning Gators may be closer than they appear my daughter about 9 IIRC says, HEY DAD, look at these funny signs she's laughing her butt off thinks they are real cute ,,she then turns to the bayou and notices the six footer floating about 20ft away from her NEVER saw that kid move that fast up hill, EVER... |

A 12 foot alligator can easlily "disappear" in about 18 inches of water. I know this first hand. The gator in the picture above was underwater near shore and I would never have know if there wasn't a line leading to him. |
