diatomacious earth just cuts the shells of stuff with hard shells. You don't want to inhale the dust into your lungs, so make sure bees are ok with it if going nuts with it. But if the bees don't mess around on the ground near the hives, dust that. Diatomacious earth is just ground up shells and stuff, run a search and read up on it and only buy the food grade stuff. The pool grade stuff might not be so friendly. |
