I planted my first ever garden after weeks back using Walmart potting soil and some homemade raised beds.  I really didn't think much would grow (July in Florida) and was using it as a proof of concept for the garden beds.  However, everything sprouted and started looking pretty good in the first week or two.  Since then, however, progress has really slowed down and I'm noticing these white trails around the leaves.

Google-fu suggests 'leafminers'.  I've culled the affected leaves but I'm not sure what else I can do.  I haven't added anything to the soil yet, just planted and watered.

Any suggestions?  I'm at work but I could post some pictures of a leaf this afternoon.
