I am looking for a way to kill squinnies! (ground squirrels) they keep digging under my patio foundation and now I am getting water in my basement from the tunnel they have dug, I have tryed to fill the holes and block them off, they dig around and dig more, so its time these things go! what have some of you done to remove these pests!

I have a nut orchard so we have lots of squirrels.  They frequently dig under my shop to overwinter. Figure out what their food source is,( in my case filberts) and sit nearby with a small shot gun, we use a 20ga. and take  care of business.
A .22 rifle will work, you just need to be more patient with the rifle. We have so many that its kind of like  mass production, too many squirrels to spend much time on each one, thus the shot gun . Doing anything under the foundation is inviting problems, dead squirrels under the house start to smell.
I have a device called a molecat that uses blanks to get burrowing rodents, don't think I'd like to use it under the foundation for the above reason.  If you are willing to risk the smell, the molecat is available at Amazon

I had to google "squinnies". That sure looks like a chipmunk to me.

Aguila .22 Super Colibri and a rifle sighted in for it.  That'll take care of chipmunks and squirrels.

My only issue with chipmunks is having the patience to wait for them.   Always a blast though.

When I was a kid we used to catch them in the cemetery.  We would watch one go in its hole and then pour a milk jug of water down the hole and leave the jug over the hole.  The ground squirrels would come out of the hole and right into the jug.  Worked every time.
