This looks quite simple to make.  I would definitely consider this for a greenhouse, barn, shop, or coop.  It would work for a house as well.

Posted in this forum because many folks like to compost and use compost this is an added benefit.

Strange that no one replied...

Well, I have a sawmill 5 miles away that sells a scoop of fresh hardwood mulch for $10.95.  One scoop overloads my pickup bed over the cab and pouring out the sides and back.  I figure 4-5 loads will make a decent sized one.  I'll have to locate a circulation pump and a heat exchanger (old radiator).  I may build a hoop house over my garden this fall and see how it does.  I figure I can pull this off for under $200.

I dont have access to sawdust readily, but I was thinking of trying this to heat my greenhouse through the fall and winter months.

But right now I'm working on making a compost pile that will get warm and stay warm
