I'm looking for a basic PW...in the 2500-3000 PSI range.  Home depot has some Generacs that have good ratings like THIS ONE but I've never bought one before.  General residential stuff like decks, driveways and siding cleaning...maybe occasional use as a neighborhood cat chaser is what I need.  I want to keep it under 500.00.  Thoughts?

I bought a PW a couple years ago from Northern Tool. It's been a decent machine (the Honda engine is a plus) but it's nothing stellar. I'd have no problem buying the one you linked to. Reviews look very favorable.

We usually pressure wash stalls, etc couple times a year, and same with rabbit cages, plus all the other stuff around the place.

I NEVER have any luck at pawn shops, always used up/broken junk at or near full retail new prices!
But a friend happened to come by with a Sears PW in her truck a few years ago that she picked up at a pawn shop for $50- she already had one, and wanted to know if I needed one! Thing has been great, esp for the price!

Before that, the 11hp Honda unit from work would occassionally follow me home for a weekend.

dad recently picked up a Honda one (it has a honda engine, not sure if that's the brand or not) he likes it, but its much stronger than his last one.  last one was electric.  so far he likes it.
