Ugh... thought I was doing good...

About 50% of the tomatoes that I have picked seem to have some type of fungus or something in the flesh of the fruit near the surface. They are small 1/8" sized white leathery spots in the flesh. You can see them from the outside of the fruit, but they are actually in the flesh.

A fresh picked fruit will have a whitish polka-dotted appearance to it.

Does anybody know what this is? I did a google search and didn't come up with much.

ETA, ah crap... thought I was in Food & garden... mods can move if you want to.

ETA, this is what they look like, and it appears that in my search for a photo I found the answer to my questions... insecticides are coming out...

I moved it for you.

I am no expert in doctoring tomatoes, even though I grow them every year.  Maybe someone else can help you.

Thanks I'm sure it'll get more attention here... I was slightly distracted this morning and just thought I was still in Food & Garden.

I was thinking ghost spot but if that pic is accurate it probably isn't that.
