First a couple pics of my box stall brooder, and coop. I moved the whites to the brooder stall, and set it up with roosts, to give them all more room.

And now for the Hot Chicks.

It's been nasty up here. They get alot of cold watermellon rind, and old apples out of the fridge. They chill under the Lilacs, and get fans in the coops at night.

Do you have nesting boxes in there?

Guess it helps to pay attention to the pics that are posted huh?

The stall the brooder was indoesn't have nesting boxes, cause the white rocks are not for eggs.
Maybe do another batch of cornish crosses later this summer, early fall.

I have been making sure that about half of the waterers that I use are full of ice in the morning before I head to work, one other thing that, while not necessary, is good to do is get a packet of livestock electrolytes and I just mix up a waterer ful of chicken Gatorade.

They'll pull through.

Yep, sav-a-chick in the waterers for sure. We let them out first thing in the morning, so they get alot of moisture in the greens they eat.
