And we are not an agricultural university.  I think this is great.  I don't think I need to take it but I might anyways to show some support for the class so it hopefully continues.

I looked into taking that class. I'm just not so sure I have the room for chickens considering I only live on a .15 acre lot.

My total coop and run footprint is about 120 square feet (15x8).

I measured it out a few days ago and I would have to put it under my deck (2nd story) and I would only have about 32 sq ft. (8x4) I have a south facing house and the coop would be under the deck which is on the north side, so no sunlight. Just not sure it would work. At least W. Jordan allows chickens.

It's cool that they're doing that course. Folks will learn a lot and not have to make some of avoidable beginner mistakes.

Yes they do.

I know someone who has them under his desk.  Seems to work just fine.

That's a typo, I assume?

If not, tell me more.

Do they keep your feet warm?

i wish my local college would do something like this.  I'd really love to learn before I do it to avoid as many mistakes as possible and to learn what health risks are involved.
