I have 3 plants of Super Cayenne II peppers, they are doing great. The plants are tall & bushy, with plenty of big peppers on them. The peppers that are on them are not turning red though. Anybody know why they would not be? We have had quite a bit of rain here lately if that matters. They get full sun from about 11:00 am on through sunset.

If the picture shows them red, I want red peppers.

How they look right now, not red.

Just wait.  They look good.  They will turn.

ETA:  Peppers like moist not wet.  Mine are just turning in Indiana.

On the tag in the first picture, it says "Matures in 70 days", does that mean the plant or the peppers on the plant?

Been having the same problem with all my peppers, very slow to turn. Patience is key

That means the peppers.  It is not a time clock it could be weeks later or before.  Water, sunlight/temp as well as correct soil are the factors.

70 days is a guesstimate, as he said.

Those peppers look pretty good to me, give them a few days and see what you have.

Ripening takes time.  Be patient.

Peppers will take a little time to ripen, just wait.  Peppers also like to be drier
