Biscuits -
For making biscuits, is bisquik the best or should I use some thing else?
Which will store longer?
Which is more cost effective?

Pancakes -
How long will pancake mix in a box store for in plastic buckets?
Does it matter if it has blueberries or chocolate chips in it?

Gravy -
Where can I get the best deal on powdered gravy in bulk packs?

Mashed Potatoes -
How long will the instant type store for?

Thanks

I'll bump your Q's since I don't know the answers myself.

I think that most people tend to store the basic components (wheat, salt, etc.) to make their own mixes because they are generally more cost effective when purchased in large quantities and because they store longer.  Most of the items you have questions about will have a "Best if used before" date, although they are often edible for much longer.  I use the basics because I think my recipes TASTE better.
