I hate SVBs. I am combating them right now myself. I havent seen the female yet, but I have been picking eggs off my pumpkin plants nonstop so far. Give this a try SVB Trap I orderd one for next years battle.

Crap. I saw one of those about a week ago and was wondering what it was. I've always been a tomato gardener, and this is the first year I've branched out w/ pumpkins, watermelon, and cukes.

I better go take a good look. I only saw one of the bugs, but haven't looked for the grubs.

First cucumber beetles, now this!

What a timely thread.

Now I will have to go out and look at my pumpkins and other squash and check them. I walk my garden daily, so it's not really adding anything new, just something new to look for.
