on maters. Trying to find out if anything new will increase production or if direct slow root watering will increase production. Nothing I did was expensive or time consuming by any ammount.
I bought some of the red mulch trays with the 4 water holes in them, they are advertised to reflect the correct UV that tomatoes need to flourish. Well we shall see. 
Went ahead and did several in each box the standard way with just mulch and will water at the base of the plant. 
The last way was with a gallong milk jug buried next to the roots with small holes drilled in it to direct water the roots slowly.
