Slugs popping up all over the garden. Any suggestions on the best way to get rid of them.
Thanks

My parents would put out cups with beer in them. The slugs would be attracted to the smell and fall in and drown.
Maybe try diatomaceous earth. I cant remember if it works on slugs or not.

Slugs wreak havoc in our garden too. We use an off the shelf product called "Deadline" have had good success with this, but may need to re-apply in a few weeks.
The beer trap is supposed to work well, but I figured my dogs would just lap it up.

We tend to get them in the strawberry patch in the Spring, so I just sprinkle some diatamaceous earth (available in most garden shops just for this purpose). It wipes them out very handily, and doesn't put any chemicals in your garden.

My parents sent me out with a Daisy BB gun. It was my first hunting experience

Diatomaceous Earth works great on slugs.
Just dust it on, reapply after it rains.
Go to the pool store and get a 40lb bag.
