I don't eat a lot of junk food but today I just got an urge for some Tastykake Butterscotch Krimpets.
For those of you who ain't from around here, Tastykake is a Philadelphia based company that's been cranking out these little morsels since 1914.
My grandmother worked in their factory when she was a teenager.
I think they are still pretty regional so not everybody can find them in their markets.

Anyway, I got to thinking about trying to make some.
I Googled it up and this was the first recipe I found.
Please note instruction number 15.
Must be an Arfcommer.

I've been eating those critters since the mid 70's, at least that's as far
back as I can remember. Back when they used to be packed in wax
paper wrappers. I've had my mom send them to me wherever I was
in the world.

Philly native here. They are my second favorite Tastykakes, after the Peanut Butter Kandy Cakes.
