| So what do you guys know about this stuff? Is it the same as mountain house? All I am reading is its "low moister" what does that mean dehydrated? I can’t seem to find out much about it including reviews. The web page is terrible, and the products seem pretty costly when compared with mh and honeyville. Do they do smaller backpacking pouches? And experience would be appreciated. Thanks. |
| it has been my experience that most of the dehydrated stuff tastes like cr-p and it is very expensive. what i do for my mountain elk hunts is to buy the little single serving microwave tubs of food (soup, ham & beans, ravioli etc) if you watch you can get them 3 for a buck. I take the lids off and simmer them in a small pot of water. The food is weighs more but you dont need to carry as much water, and the only dish you dirty is a spoon! Just my 2 cents worth |
