Ok i have done quite afew dinner pics and i just see them in GD. Why dont we have a tacked spot for Dinner pics. I mean alot of people go through the trouble to do a cool dinner pic for about 15 to 20 people comment and it fade into GD discusion. What i mean is post you dinner pic in GD and let every one comment and a day latter after it has faded, post it in the "dinner pic" area, much like the AR pic area where its just pics and no talky talky. I bet that everyone that did a dinner pic has it saved and it would be very cool to see all thouse years of pics in one place. What do you guys think??? |
I've seen a lot of "dinner pics" over the years and many of them have been great fun. But one of the constant features of those posts has been the lack of any explanation regarding the meal, what it contains, how it's prepared and why anybody should be interested. If you couple a "dinner pic" with an explanation of the meal and some direction on how to prepare the meal, it might be worthy of a tack. Absent some accompanying text, a picture of dinner alone isn't gonna get a tack in this forum. |
Bingo thats what i want to start.  See you can post just the pic and some simple deffinition of what you have cooked in GD and THEN post the pic here in a TACKED spot with and what and how you cooked the meal.If you just post a pic of the meal then you get it taken down, simple as that. |
Go ahead and give it a try.......post a "how I make this meal post" here, complete with pics and explanation, then post the standard "dinner pic" in GD or Team with a link to your thread here. If it becomes popular, maybe it'll be tack-worthy.
