Botach has both the yellow and coyote tan for that price... got mine in 3 days... heck of a light for the price...

Ordered one coyote and one yellow.
I received the email asking if I wanted the substitute off-brand light, and I replied by asking what color(s) of the Polytac were sold out. They never replied to me. Got an envelope in the mail yesterday containing just the yellow Polytac. No invoice, no comments, nothing. I have never had a problem with Botach before, but I know their reputation...now I wonder... |

I got yet another email today, with another invoice, for two more yellow lights!
They still haven't addressed my previous email to them. I think the name on it was "Brittany". I don't mind the deals at that price, if my CC gets charged, though, I had better get what I ordered. If it wasn't such a large company, this would be somewhat comical... |

The crap off-brand light IS a crap off brand light. I compared my Polytac side-by-side with the replacement brand light: The Polytac is an aluminum tube with plastic over molded, the fit and finish is nice. The Replacement light is all plastic with a foil sticker inside to conduct. It is physically larger (10%?) than the Polytac. I own five of them and not sure I'd recommend them for anything you'd have to depend on. They are fine for around the house. You won't find them on any weapons of mine for sure. |
