I looked at the rush 72 i think and its to big
looked at the maxpedition and didnt like the lack of internal pockets

Condor and voodoo china enough said
and only a few dollars cheaper

The rush 24 is 129$ plus 30% off of that
But they dont have the color i want in stock

I've got one and really like it.  You will get a lot for the money.

Ok, this topic is all relative to cost.  An obvious statement of course but I needed to throw it out there.

I have bought Camelbac packs, Kelty tactical packs and Spec ops pacs.  At the end of the day, they have been well built quality packs but only for 48 hour trips.  They all are roughly 3000 CI's which is just not enough for a BOB.  I just received my Eberlestock G4 and wow, what a pack.  It is expensive but well worth it because of construction and versitility.

Check it out.

As far as the cost, buy once, cry once.

What are you using it for? Dayhikes? Bob? Regular 3 day campouts? Hiking the AT?

What you need is completely dependent on the usage. Most packs are pretty specialized these days, even breaking them down into mountaineering, expedition, cycling, etc.

Yea i wasnt to specific on what i was going to use it for
Mostly just a everyday carry with work stuff in it
I am leo so i would have stuff in there that most people dont normally carry

Liked the idea of a bag with molle on it so i could put pouches
in and on it for the little stuff... just need smaller pockets for the little
Stuff...

Stuff i would like to carry extra of is stuff for when i am on call and have to grab
and go....

My main question was is this a quality bag or should i look else where

I just got one "the pack" in brown, really like the Molle layout. Not much internal pockets but they sell a organizer that works really good.

i posted this in another thread a few minutes ago:

"it has been my experience that 5.11 packs will fail after light / moderate use. on the other hand i've had a blackhawk 3 day pack for years that's seen significant use but still looks and functions like new."

YMMV

From personal experience, i can say that the SDS/ProTech packs mentioned above are awesome good buys, and GTG.
ETA: 3/26/12 My order got an automatic confirmation at time of order, BUT when I just checked "Status of Order' on-line, I got a msg with a "Waiting to Ship" comment. On further reading, there was a note attached that said my two packs were no longer offered, and order was cancelled.

I apologize for sending you all off on a wild goose chase.
