Potentially I think it would be handy in a high/intermittent noise environment when linked to a cell phone, but I'd want to test them before I purchased - I'd be concerned the outbound conversation (my side) constantly cutting out as the noise cancelling mic went into overdrive...  However, I would expect that the incoming sound/call volume and clarity would be pretty good...

I don't really care for Bluetooth, but that is a pretty good price for Peltor electronic muff with a mic. Can you plug anything into it?

I have some electronic Peltor cans without the mic, but they do have an external input. After gritting my teeth and finally paying the $35 for the cable, I can now blast targets at the range while listening to metal on my phone

I was thinking of communicating with other instructors on the range.....

Practicing move and shoot drills with my group....

Communicating w/o destroying hearing at range or during practice appeals to me....

hmmmmm could you use a pair of these as an intercom system on a vehicle like a
Deuce?

What else would you need?

We tried using a system like that for racing. It was more of a pain in the ass than anything. We went back to using hand signals.

Doesn't that defeat the purpose?
