No more gens in the area at all. HD, Lowes, pawn shops all sold out two days ago.
All the people that bought or had used them for powering individual devices suddenly realized they needed to power the whole house, so there was a mad dash today for the twist lock connectors that plug into the gens. I was looking for the 220v 20 amp connector....none! The 120v 30 amp plugs were also gone. Note to self: Get at least 20 feet of SO cable (black flexible 3 or 4 conductor) & the appropriate plugs prior to the main event. Should be some good deals on used gens after this. |
