| I just got the opportunity to use my Saber Jacket for the first time since I bought it about 3 weeks ago. I live in the Willamette Valley (Portland Oregon) and this weekend I was a volunteer for the Special Olymics at their Summer Games. Yesterday was a bit overcast and it lightly rained for a short time, the jacket was great! Even a bit too warm at times. Today on the other hand was the strangest July day I have ever seen. It poured down rain all day...hard. I was wearing my Saber Jacket without the hood and the only part of me to get wet (that was under my jacket anyway) was my collar. This thing is awesome! I was outside in the pouring rain for 6 hours and not a drop inside the jacket! This is a great purchase! |

You guys talked me into it. I ordered one. Hopefully it'll keep me dry on my walk to and from work unlike the jacket I'm using currently which is fine for going from the door to the car, but not so much for a 2.5 mile walk in the rain. I'm happy with the one I paid $159 for. I'm even happier with the $99 one.
