I hit up the sale at Tandy on Friday and got two nice ten square foot pieces of leather. But... I have nothing to make out of it.

The only knife that I would want to make a nice sheath for, I don't own yet, and my pistols already have holsters. This may have been a bad idea to buy.

What have you all made? I need ideas to kill my weekend

I am thinking of making a Butt cuff for my Marlin 30-30. Might even incoporate a altoids tin compartment.

-Heavy gun belt?

what weight hide is it? If you decide to get rid of it I will take it off your hands.

Youll know what to make when you need it. Just be sure you have the tools you need as well as the leather. I've stored some in my preps. Will rotate like anything else.

Belt pouches for fire kits or pocket knives (or both)

I made one recently to free up some room in my pockets.

I hit up the same sale and got stocked up on a bunch of different punches and tools, plus a nice 8/9 oz double shoulder. Gonna try my hand at a couple of holsters, got a new 1911 that needs a fancy dress BBQ rig, and my son wants a CC holster for his.

How about making some AR15 mag pouches.

I'd be down for one or two.

I'll send you a picture soon of an idea that I want to try out with leather but have not yet gotten any.
