I bought a pair a few years ago. . .use them when I go into the city on snowy or snowy/slushy days, or when shoveling snow here at home. . . They are . . . GREAT!

You can wear a regular pair of shoes inside them, they are easy to put on and off, and really keep water/snow/slush out. . . they are high enough that you can plow through fairly deep snow or puddles. . .they when you get to where your going,  you unsnap the fastek buckle,  open the velcro seam and step out of them. . . You can wear dress shoes inside them for crying out loud!

Worth it.

I wear them over my riding boots on the dual sport MC. They work great.

Fucking awesome

I used them with great succes in AK, they are perfect for shallow water crossing as well general wet areas when combined with long distance hunting/tracking. They are a great way to pack water protection, without the need for waders.

They are not a substitute for waders, if you are working in a stationary positon, ie duck blind and not walking a lot, get waders.

They also work great to keep dew off in the morning then quickly remove to keep the heat buildup down
