i have been looking at these online and found some rough designs to work off of. i am a woodworker by trade so i was thinking of making a couple to see how well they work. dose anyone have any experience with these and is it worth the time?

| as a project to play around with in the shop- give it a shot! If your ass is on the line IMHO, there are too many things that could go wrong with a fire piston. Other than having a ton of Zippos around, I'd go with a magnesium fire block or feresium (sp) rod. Just my two bits |
