[ARCHIVED THREAD] - First Aid Gear

Where can I get an excellent first aid kit? I am enrolled in the RC Adv Livesaver program, but I can't find anyhing good locally.

I agree making your own is a good choice. But if you want something to start with then add to it rescue essentials has pre made kits.

Edit to say, I just checked that link I put in and it only shows "personal" type kits, they also have specialty and tactical type FAKs too.

If you want to buy one or make your own go to www.boundtree.com. You can buy a whole FAK or make your own. Being an EMT there is a lot of things that you will get in a full kit that I wouldn’t need or even use.

There are several sites you can visit to purchase first aid supplies and pre-made kits.

Once you get to the site, you may have to search around a bit but I think you will find a variety to gear to be had at these sites.

I stock a number on my site- as with any premade kit they are not 100% perfect for anyones needs, but they make an excellent starting point to build from.

Later today I will be adding a new model in a nice backpack type unit.
