I'd like to pick up a supply of MREs, but there seem to be thousands of vendors.
Thought I'd turn to ARFCom for suggestions. Thanks |

Up in Fairbanks AK there is a little surplus store that sells cold weather MRE's and regular ones too. The place is called Blondies. I bought a few cases up there and shipped them home and it worked out to about $70 a case. He said he will ship!

I've had good luck with MRE Depot. Under $100/case delivered. I think I heard about them here.

I think the cold weather MRE's have a higher calorie content as well. |

The Long Range Patrol MREs we got were the freeze dried kind but also in tan outer wrap, so I think there is an internal difference as well. |

Very good price for two cases. Problem is. they dont give you the menu or date. And they repackage, you cant see the indicator that is made onto the original box |

I know they sell them at the Fort Lee Commisary. You can also find them on the Ranger Joes website. well i don't know wether to thank you or cuss you... i went to ranger joes, and spent $100(my hours are cut and i make squat these days), and i didn't even buy any MREs. i did pick up a few things i've been wanting and looking for, but previously had not been able to find... ETA: i just go ahead and split the difference... thanks, damn you!..

Base commissary sells them by the case. You have access? I asked my friend that went to Macord a couple of weeks ago if he could get any and he said he never saw any. I had a friend of mine look for me also. HE said the same thing, never seen any. He did ask next time he went over, and the guy said he could get some @ about $80+/case. I said no thanks. FB |

And they repackage, you cant see the indicator that is made onto the original box Recent purchases show meals that are only on the 2009 menu list so they are fresh as far as I can tell...and they include heaters. Here is a great informational site: http://www.mreinfo.com/ |
| I've ordered single entree's from The Epicenter in the past. Never ordered a case. Did price a pallet once, and they give i think its a 5% discount if you bulk order. They are in OR, so cheaper shipping on that side of the US. |

FB I see them at the ones Ive been too All commissaries can get them, call the manager and have them order them. I think the last case I picked up was 83 bucks, Most with inspect dates of 2011, I think the last on I got was 2012 |

| I have had good luck with TheEpicenter in the past. I also have had very good luck ordering from MreDepot.com in the past. I don't work for and I'm not affiliated with either one, just a happy customer. MreDepot was the only place I could find canned cheese and canned butter a few years ago. |
