So I just replaced the smallish "dump bag" pouch on my belt with a lumbar pack. It is the Blackwater rolltop pack. I know neither Blackwater gear or lumbar packs are the most popular items here, but this is a decent piece of gear that seems to solve one of the issues with lumbar packs. Specifically, the rolltop design moves the buckles to the side where you can easily reach them without removing the belt. You still have to rummage around blind but opening and closing the pack is pretty easy. I needed more room and this seems to have solved my problem.
Now I need some suspenders - any suggestions? |
