| I'm looking for a hiking/survival knife for hiking in the Adirondacks this spring/summer/fall and maybe winter. I think I am going to go with the Rat Cutlery 4. Is this a good choice? |
| I picked up the Rat Cutlery RC-3 a few months ago with the same purpose (and similar geography) in mind. It's great - positive grip, stout blade, good finish, flexible carry options. I chose the RC-3 over the RC-4 with the thought that I may EDC it, but essentially they are the same knife with a different length blade. I think it's a good choice. |
