Need help looking for a good boot knife!

make sure to double check your local laws. Boot knives are fixed blades which are considered "dangerous weapons" in some areas. There are also laws regarding concealing knives.

That said, check out HAK (hide away knives) for good backup knives. CRKT also makes some good relatively inexpensive fixed blades.

kershaw amphibian is my favorite small double edged dagger knife.

Kind of runs into a lot of laws in most places I think.

Still a nice little knife but mine has not seen much really hard daily use even though I bought it back in high school.
