Anyone have a good source for wool camp blankets?  Im looking for one that is wool on one side and a synthetic nylon type material on the other.  Im not sure who makes them but i know they are out there somewhere.  I want it small enough to be rolled up and strapped to a GHB or for a day hike.  Any ideas would be great...thanks!

I think Sportsmans Guide had some, fairly cheap depending on how much wool you wanted in them.

Get the german army ones. They are 84x82 and nice.

The all wool Italian blankets can be had for $20 each online.

I was going to take some of my German wool blankets and sew them into a cotton or fleece "bag" so they aren't so scratchy. I was thinking about using old sheets to do this with, mabey two layers of old sheets per side.

Looks like and has the same wool % as the ones carried by most army surplus stores.  I have one and it works well.  A good camp blanket that for the price you wont be sad if it gets trashed.

Look like the UN refugee blankets I seen before.
They are not so quality, and are more of a compressed sheet of crap wool fiber and sweepings from the sewing factory floor.

Appreciate the heads up, I have been looking for the Italian Wool blankets since  I bought one from Cheaper Than Dirt. They are out now, so I was very happy that Major Surplus had them. actually a little cheaper than I paid before....
