I'm just looking for something that can manually pump water out of a large container.

Anyone have any suggestions, links, etc...?

How about a water filter (MSR, Katadyn, etc.)?

If you remove the filter, you can get higher flow if the waters already filtered and treated.

In the rv section you can generally find some small hand pumps for water.

I siphon stuff mostly.  Especially when messin with 5 or 7 gallon water jugs.

I am somewhat thinking about getting into 55 gallon water drum storage and I picked up an old cart made for drums that not only lets you use the cart as a dolley but it is also made to roll onto its back and lift the drum up so the drum winds up a foot and half or so off the ground.  A spigot would be the preferred setup when doing this.

Then again with a full drum I can still play with a siphon for a while and once that won't work I can wrestle the drum.

Even with my kerosene I am getting to where I just siphon stuff.  I got tired of the cheap hand pumps for filling my kerosene heaters and never bought a decent one so a good hose and I am in business.

Thanks guys.  Sounds like the manual water pumps out there work just as well as the water filter pumps.

10' of tubing may be the winner.

Rotary pumps work well when syphoning isn't convenient.  Clamp a hose to the end of the spout and off it goes.

Harbor Freight has them.

They usually have a $20 water-only version in stock but can't seem to find it today.  Northern Tools and Tractor Supply also have them.

That looks perfect.  Thanks.
