I know most everyone has seen the small 32 oz bottles
of Coleman cooking fuel at Wal-Mart for $4.46 a quart.
I just saw something new for me.
Coleman Kerosene, in the same 32 oz bottle.
No! Not much fuel but it may be the thing for apartments.
Easy to carry. Here it was $4.36 a quart.
Costly, maybe. Just a thought.

OUCH! I thought clear K-1 at the pump was getting expensive.

I would get K-1 at lowes in the 2 gallon containers for like $17 or better yet go to a gas station and get it for like $3.80 a gallon (at least in VA).

The big containers occasionally go on sale at Lowes and Home Depot, right around the same time as when they are getting rid of their heaters for the end of the winter season. Buy it once, and you're pretty much set until you actually need it.
