Has anyone tried one of these? They make a 1 and 2 battery model both with CRee bulbs.

I have not seen one but they seem to have good things to say about them here over on CPF. Most of the guys there know their stuff and they live and breath anything flashlight.

A friend has been using one for a few months and has nothing bad to say about them.

If you are talking about the Triad LED with the 3 Cree LEDs, it is the brightest 6V LED we carry. It has been my primary handheld light of choice for the past 6 months...

Not the triad. They make a smaller one with a single cree bulb. Can't think of the name they gave it.
