Ooooooh, the excitement builds. And everything was well protected and made it just fine: Attached File First off, it was instantly apparent that he has giftwrapping skills that I absolutely lack: Attached File Three separate bundles inside- did I mention the excitement yet? Attached File Somehow he managed to select a Clancy book that I've actually not read, which is hard to do since I grew up on Hunt for Red October, Red Storm Rising, etc. The Castway Hammock looks great- I've done some hammock camping and this thing looks really well designed and made. Attached File And the pouch, you ask? But wait, there're more! Attached File A thoughtful, well-put-together first aid and outdoor pack, since he and I are both campers, outdoorsmen, etc. The 550 cord on the knife is a nice add too- thanks! I hope to use the knife and firestarter either with my own trips, or on field exercises with the cadets at work. I hope to have, but not use, the first aid stuff!
MustangRacer did a great job- communicating, packing, selecting, etc. Everything was spot on and included some great things I probably wouldn't have thought of for myself- which is the mark of a great gift exchange. Thanks much!!! |

Jim, did an awesome job. On his gift. I did not expect what he sent. Though once his package arrive my wife said " maybe its that gun thingy your about to order..." So for almost a week ive been tempted to peek..lol. So my pink multicam hat is off to Jim, a great exchange partner, thank you again. The guard dog was intrested....why? Powder residue, devils lettuce, dead strippers leg????? Attached File Once opened, grey egg crate foam was snatched and almost shredded lol. Inside. Attached File Everything i needed to finish an upcoming build. This will be my 1st AR ever. Im an AK guy. So Jim has helped me step up from peasant stick to tier 87 status... 
Also inside was 2 boxes of ammo , a Pmag..LPK etc. A pretty sweet kersaw knife... and some homemade apple butter...that caught my wifes eye, i better hide it. Again. Thank you very much Jim and the SF exchange crew. Merry Christmas!! |

I got spoiled by @Rudison, knives that will go in he earthquake kit(sounds better than “zombie pocolypse ), a sweeet pocket stove, box of match ammo, spare hat and gloves, some tools that will definitely help with appointing my new home , “a man scented candle that can’t be in the living room “(wife has proclaimed it ;-)), and a sweet cat toy.

By far my favorite is the cannonball dug from the family farm and the ancient driftwood to display it. It will be displayed in a place of honor. The girls love it.
