Bear with me as this is my first "review" and thought I would share some thoughts on this.  This is a 3 LED USB powered light.

Light slideshow

I found them on amazon and thought for the price they would be a small and inexpensive light source when needed (5 for $13).  They have the ability to attach to a keychain for carrying, but with the electronics being exposed I would worry about the durability.

The light is touch on and off, and also dims when you keep touching it, kind of making it "infinitely" adjustable.  I keep a fair amount of portable chargers around and in both of our cars, so these seemed like a good addition for those.  I figure if the power goes out it would be quick to pop one of these in a portable charger to light up a room. I also like that I can have light in my center console and glove box without having to hard wire something.  Camping use is a no brainer as well.  I do keep flashlights around, but this gives me the ability to keep my flashlight and still have a very small light source handy for other things.  I'm sure this isn't Earth shattering news to most on here, but I thought they were neat and worth talking about.  Let me know if you have any questions and go easy on me

That's pretty neat. I like the idea of USB powered devices, and having so many charging options.

I had two flexible USB powered keyboard lights, but both broke right away. My latest USB toy is a small desk fan. I've gotten about five hours of run time out of an average portable charger battery pack. I didn't get nearly that much time out of my 12VDC fan connected to a Harbor Freight 3-in-1 jump starter.

Maybe someone should make a USB powered device sticky. (1-2-3 not it!)

The Hubbell USB receptacles are nice.

I got five of the 6 LED 1W versions in CW a few months back.  I think I paid about $6 for the five.

They're great little area lights with a USB power bank.

I need to order some more in NW.  The nice thing about the Soshines that I got, is that they're reversible, so if your USB socket is facing the wrong way, for some reason, you're golden.

I went with this guy and no problems:

These are reversible as well.  I'm going to check out the ones you linked.
Thanks

For $6 shipped, they're worth it.  I'd like to try the neutral whites, but since this will be an emergency lighting item, one probably doesn't need the better tint and the slightly higher output will be acceptable, at the expense of 'color rendition.'

I gave one to my GF and have one taped (within a cut down Ziplock baggie) to my power bank for 'lantern-esque' duties.  Soshine is a big li-ion cell/charger maker, so they're well known.
