Had fuel stored for 2 years with PRI gas stabilizer.  Put it in FJ cruiser and it ran like a charm.  It was 92 octane 10% ethanol fuel.  This time around, is it better to store high octane or 100% gasoline.  My choices are 92 octane + 10% EtOH or 100% 87 octane gasoline.  What do you think?

What type of gas do you run in your generator and small engines? Store that.

Those will run on anything.  Im more concerned with hurricane bug out TBH.

It likely doesn't matter...

I store mid grade non ethonol fuel, I would store high grade if I could find it close by.
If I'm storing gas for SHTF I don't mind paying the small amount extra to have fuel that I know will be good for 3 years or more.
These are photos from a few years ago so price per gallon is high here in photos.

We store ordinary alcohol burdened fuel for many years longer than 3, and it works fine.

The REAL question that should be asked is...

How to properly store it to retain the volatile fuel fractions.

This ^^^

IMHO, I've actually had BETTER LUCK storing ethanol blends as they seem to lose their volatile fractions less easily. It doesn't make sense to me but I can never seem to get my mower cold-started on E-free gas that was stored for a single winter, but ethanol blends stored over winter fire just fine.

I store them in air tight jerry cans.

I store all my gasoline in airtight cans and I dose it with PRI G.  Never have bad fuel related problems on anything.

I store the 87 100% for over a year at a time with no stabilizer in nato cans. I've never had a problem with it.
