They had Bumble Bee solid white albacore tuna in water on sale at my local Shoprite supermarket. Price was .99 can. At that price I usually buy a few and rotate with rest of all my other brands. I noticed that they now list the nutritional facts very specifically. Right next to that part it said:
Caught in Pacific Ocean
Product of China
Canned in the USA
Looking at my other BB cans, any expiration prior to 2018 did not state the above. It's all,the new ones.,
Well all my BB are going back. Have to call the other brands to see their origin.

Not a great surprise with a cheap brand like that. At least it's canned in the U.S.A.. Something to remember though, if you hadn't known you would have likely kept buying and using it with no ill effects or illusions about it.

Product origin is a new law here in CT.

Probably why your just seeing it.

It's rather specific too.  All our meat have a three tier labeling
Born
Raised
Harvested/Processed
