Since most on the SF are the "go to guy/gal", I thought of this forum recently when I was exposed to some training about Psychological first aid. In a SHTF of ALL types this is important and understanding the mental breakdown and recovery process can be beneficial. I haven't read the guide through and through, but had some training and exposure to it and it was available to the public so I thought I would post it for you all. Especially useful to first responders.
Granted it is for helping those out who have been exposed to a traumatic event of some sort, but what SHTF moment isn't traumatic, anything from being fired, death in the family, terror attack, etc, trauma is trauma, depends on the individual. Anyway hope some benefit from it. Psychological First Aid Field Manual |
